RonDavoux Records Artist, K-MIDAS Entertainment Co-Founder and Bay Area Hip Hop Congress Member KDoe aka Kenneth Casey Poynter was hit by an Amtrak Train in San Leandro, California February 7, 2008 around 8pm!! He will be missed by the many people he has touched in his short life. KDoe often quoted the bible stating “That we will be justified by our works”!! The work he put in for Hip Hop, Oakland ,The Bay Area, his Family and Friends, and his Community will live on Forever!!

KDoe was well known and respected in Oakland/Bay Area by many Community Leaders , Activists, Emcees, and fellow Natives including producer Jaee Logan, Adisa Banjoko and Mayor Ron Dellums, He also did very important work to end Violence by working with S.A.V.O.Y (Stop All Violence On Youth). KDoe has released the mixtape “On the Rise” selling more than 10,000 copies Independently and was set to drop the “Higher Elevation” Mixtape and his debut album “Brokefessional” in 2008.
KDoe was also featured w/ many Bay Area Artists including DLabrie, Keldamuzik, Spitta, Numskull, 18, Nump, GorillaPits, Alias Alliance, Bleev, Wish Rydah, Untouchable Entertainment, Bigg Mann, King George and many more!! This 100 % positive young brother had been featured on the BET special on the Hyphy Movement “Hype on Hyphy” and E-40 DVD “Town Bizness” in 2006 and was working on a book based on the book “Age of an Empire”. Whether you knew KDoe for 5 minutes or 5 years you felt like you knew him forever.

1. He would’ve given his life in a heartbeat for any of his true friends or family
2. He was a devout Christian and often spoke the words of Jesus
3. He was one of the hardest working Emcees ever. He believed in himself and his talent and put his life on the line daily for his dream
4. He had plans to help his family with his musical achievements
5. He was adopted by a loving mother in Oakland and learned through experience what it means to struggle & find ones self
6. KDoe would break out at any moment into deep philosophies about life, death and spirituality and without hesitation share them with the world
7. KDoe quit his 9 to 5 to pursue his Hip Hop Dreams in 2005 and has been to New York , Vegas, L.A and more since , Pushing his movement
8. KDoe represented for Hip Hop Congress (A worldewide non-profit that uses hip hop culture to create social change) and has participated in several events with Live Earth, Hip Hop Chess Federation, The Mayor of Oakland, S.A.V.O.Y, Hip Hop Congress and Enviornmental groups in the Bay Area to name a few!!
9. KDoe hung out in the streets of Oakland or other parts of the Bay when not on the road. He would try to inspire his friends and share opportunity of a better day with all his loved ones.

11. KDoe was a huge inspiration to DLabrie and brought alot of resources and ideas to Rondavoux Records, The ALLIANC and many more crews including Untouchable and Gold Digga Entertainment!! He would perform with DLabrie all over with groups such as KRS-1, Immortal Technique, Scarub, and Turf Talk since the day they met in front of a Walgreens near Foothill Square in Oakland and exchanged mixtapes. Previously KDoe had founded K-Mitas Entertainment with Twizznot and connected with Emcees Wish Rydah and Bleev
12. KDoe could be called on at anytime to participate in the movement. He would find a ride, hop on bart, Bus, or walk at any given time to do what he loved to do. Help people and make music
13. in New York KDoe watched the sun rise on a rooftop with DLabrie and an NYC friend named Damani and felt he was really on his way.
14. KDoe gave his CD to Russel Simmons at Southland Mall in Hayward , CA @ an autograph signing
15. KDoe was not afraid to die and never appeared to be stressed under the worse conditions

19. KDoe grew up near Bay Area Rap Legends 3 Times Krazy and repped the “Hunnids” , he went to Madison , ElmHurst and Castlemont before getting an AA degree from Heald College which he stated ” Did nothing for him” after he graduated!!
20. He wrote some very beautiful music and he began rapping by putting his songs on CDs with other Emcees in his area. He figured he could do it too. He didnt know it would go this far!!
Bonus - he loved music by 3 Times Krazy, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Kanye West, Young Dro, Young Jeezy , Nas, Solja Boy, Eminem and pretty much anything from the Bay Area!!
KDoe was a man of the people. He lived his life to better the world. He had huge dreams , ideas, and talent. This is a major loss to the world!! As he always said when he quoted the bible! We will be justified by OUR WORKS! For his works He will surely live on forever!! He was my Brother and Friend!! I love you maine . You have changed so many lives!! Condolences to your family and all who knew KDoe!! You will be missed
